• Damage surveys on the Columbus replicas, Pinta and Santa Maria, and subsequent attendance at mediation following damages during a collision with an ocean-going barge.



• Surveys aboard dredge spoil barges, involving loss of stability and capsize, due to liquification of cargo, and subsequent attendance at mediation.



• Attendance at the Galvak Galvanizing plant in Monterrey, Mexico, to observe steel coils being trimmed following partial immersion in salt water & subsequent rusting.



• Preshipment inspection, loading and securing survey of all earth moving machinery shipped to China for construction of the dam being built on the Yangtze-Kiang.
